Thank you to everyone that has sent a donation so far for Kuba's Vet bill. I'm out of town this weekend and will personally thank everyone when I get back. Joan his foster mom said he's a little weak today and had a hard time getting up but is eating so that is good. (Cindy)

Our Vet did an oral exam on Kuba and found a loose tooth. There is alot of necrosis around it and a lot of inflation in that area. She took a few biopsies to send out for review. She also took an xray of his skull to look at his bone density and it is a little hazy in that region. She is concerned it could be cancer. We will know more in a few days. She did removed 3 teeth so needless to say he was sent home with good pain management and antibiotics. Please keep Kuba in your thoughts and prayers. We will update you once we get the results back.

His vet bill today was over $1,200. If you can help with a donation to his care please go to our website and click on the donate button - www.chowrescuecny.org - Thank you!

Our Florida resident Baron, is a sweet guy who is a bit headstrong and physically strong as well. He is doing pretty good in obedience class and will need a person to be the dominant figure in the house. Baron is good for older kids, no cats (though we are working on it) and no other small animals. He's also other dog friendly too.

If you would like to give this adorable guy a home you can read more about our policies and also find our adoption application at www.chowrescuecny.org
